When I applied to allaboutHRLaw, what attracted me most was the wide range of responsibilities within the HR field. Although I didn’t have direct experience in human resources before, I was eager to gain diverse insights into the profession. During the interviews, I quickly realized how much allaboutHRLaw values initiative, adaptability, and independence.
On the first day of my internship, I received a warm welcome at the Leipzig office – my laptop and work phone were already set up, and everything felt well-structured and perfectly organized. Over the next three months, I had the opportunity to support my colleagues in various projects – from recruiting and reviewing contracts to employee management. What I enjoyed most was the variety – no two days were ever the same. I quickly felt like a true part of the team and was able to work independently and take on responsibility.
After completing my internship, I was offered the chance to stay on as a working student. Since I had completed the internship during my semester break, I initially continued as a part-time employee for ten hours per week – perfectly balanced with my studies. Later, I paused my contract to complete an Erasmus internship abroad, where I gained further HR experience.
Upon my return, I rejoined allaboutHRLaw as a working student – this time for 15 hours per week, spread across three flexible workdays. I especially appreciate the opportunity to work from home, which allows me to balance my job with my master’s studies and my dog.
What I particularly like about allaboutHRLaw is the great variety and the diversity of clients. This gives me insights into many different areas of HR and helps me discover which topics I’m most passionate about – or perhaps it’s the combination of everything that makes it so exciting.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, running, traveling, and spending time with my dog.
