Starting Your Career – Bringing Together Practice, Experience, and Growth

Starting your career is an exciting phase—full of opportunities, but often accompanied by many questions. When is the right time? How do I gain practical experience? And how do I figure out which path truly suits me?
At allaboutHRLaw, we believe that entering the professional world doesn’t begin with your first full-time job. Instead, it’s a process that starts early—through exposure, active involvement, and real hands-on experience. Networks, mentoring, and thoughtful decision-making all play a key role in helping individuals recognize their strengths and pursue their goals.

Launching Your Career Through Real Practical Experience

As an external HR department, we work closely with a wide range of companies and have a deep understanding of today’s job market requirements. That’s why we create opportunities to actively shape career entry—not in theory, but in real-world practice.
Our interns are part of the team from day one. They contribute to daily operations, support projects, and take on responsibility. In doing so, they gain insight into key HR processes such as recruiting, applicant management, and collaboration with candidates and clients.
An internship can also serve as a strong foundation for further collaboration—for example, as a working student or, in the long term, as a trainee, provided there is a good professional and personal fit.
This direct involvement is what makes the difference: instead of simply observing, our interns gain real experience. They develop a feel for processes, learn to prioritize, and grow with their responsibilities.

Why Starting Early Matters

Beginning your career journey early offers many advantages. Those who gain practical experience during or even before their studies can:

  • Better assess their own strengths and interests
  • Apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations
  • Develop essential soft skills
  • Build a professional network

We consistently see how quickly our interns develop. The variety of tasks and collaboration with different companies create a steep learning curve that goes far beyond traditional academic content.

Learning, Taking Responsibility, and Growing

For us, starting a career primarily means one thing: development. That’s why we place great importance on creating an environment where learning and independent work go hand in hand.

Our interns contribute their own ideas, work on real projects, and gradually take on more responsibility. At the same time, they are supported by the team every step of the way. This combination of trust and guidance ensures rapid development of both professional and personal skills.

Starting Your Career at allaboutHRLaw – A Look at Our Team

Currently, four interns support our team, all of whom are consciously using this phase to gain practical experience.
Carolin recently joined us. She studies Business Administration and already brings initial insights into the HR field. She is particularly passionate about working with people, which is reflected in her open and communicative nature.
Lina studies at HTWK Leipzig and is using this opportunity to develop both professionally and personally. She is especially interested in bridging theory and practice and actively contributing to HR projects.
Together with two other interns who are also part of our team, they bring fresh perspectives and actively support our daily operations and ongoing projects.
