Junior HR Business Partner

Junior HR Business Partner – Charly between Tech, HR, and “we’ll figure it out”

Charly is a good example of how career paths are rarely completely linear. And that also shows in her day-to-day work as Junior HR Business Partner: pragmatic, calm, solution-oriented – someone who simply gets things moving.
She entered the HR world in a very classic way, starting with an apprenticeship as an industrial business clerk. It quickly became clear that she was particularly drawn to people, communication, and HR-related topics – much more than to purely administrative tasks or standard processes. Even during her training, her focus gradually shifted toward HR, health management, and HR marketing.

From there, her path became more diverse.
From an architecture office to website management and later frontend development in a trading and logistics company – her experience covers a wide range. This mix now shapes her perspective as a Junior HR Business Partner. She thinks not only in terms of people, but also in processes, systems, and the realities of companies that need to evolve and function in everyday operations.

This is especially valuable in startups and SMEs, where there is often little room for theoretical HR concepts. What is needed are solutions that work in practice – pragmatic, without unnecessary complexity, but with a clear focus.

What fits well with us

This way of working also fits very well with how we collaborate. We deliberately build teams made up of very different people with diverse backgrounds, ways of thinking, and experiences. This diversity is not accidental, but a key part of how we work.
Different perspectives ensure that topics are not viewed from just one angle. Instead of one-size-fits-all approaches, this creates solutions that better fit the specific situation – especially in an environment that changes quickly and is not always predictable.

Charly integrates well into this mix: she connects different perspectives without flattening them, and helps bring things together in a pragmatic way.

Junior HR Business Partner with a “just do it” mindset

Working with Charly is straightforward. No overly consultant-like attitude, no unnecessary complexity for the sake of explanation. Instead, clear communication on equal footing and a focus on finding practical solutions.
She listens, thinks along, and executes. This combination is particularly valuable in an external HR function, where topics and priorities can shift quickly.
HR today is no longer just administration. It’s about speed, understanding structures, and keeping the people in mind at the same time. Charly combines these perspectives without overcomplicating them.

Startups, SMEs, and external HR – her environment

Charly thrives in different company settings. No team is the same, no structure identical – and that is exactly what makes it interesting for her.
In startups and SMEs, decisions often need to be made quickly, with flexible solutions and someone who drives things forward pragmatically. She naturally takes on this role in collaboration. She helps structure topics, prioritise them, and move them into execution.
Her approach always remains approachable and uncomplicated.

Tech-minded, people-focused

Her technical background further shapes her way of working. Topics such as digital processes, structure, and efficient workflows are familiar to her and naturally flow into her HR work.
At the same time, she never loses sight of the people. This combination helps her quickly get up to speed in new topics and develop solutions that work both structurally and in practice.

Stillness? Not really her thing

When Charly is not working on HR topics or processes, she is often on the move. Travel plays a major role in her life – she has visited seven countries across three continents within a single year.
She also has a strong sporting background – including being a two-time German Badminton Champion – and enjoys playing the piano or ukulele in her free time.
All of this shows a consistent theme: change and development are part of who she is, also beyond her professional life.

In short

Charly brings a combination of pragmatic execution, technical understanding, and a clear focus on people.
Or in other words: someone who approaches things in a structured way and makes sure they get done – without unnecessary fuss.
