Internship at allaboutHRLaw – More than just a first glimpse

Hello everyone,

we are the current interns at allaboutHRLaw and would like to give you a little insight into our internship.

At the moment, there are four of us: Vanessa, Celina, Tabea, and Julia. Three of us are completing a mandatory internship as part of our studies, and one of us is doing a voluntary internship. Vanessa, Celina, and Julia are working directly in the Leipzig office, while Tabea is working remotely. However, through regular digital meetings, chats, and joint projects, we all remain in close exchange with each other.

From the very first day, we were warmly welcomed into the team and quickly realized that we are not just here to observe, but to really contribute. We were directly integrated into the workflows and are allowed to take on a variety of tasks.

This includes, for example, supporting client communication – both in online meetings and via email. In addition, we manage shared inboxes, assist in drafting and adapting employment contracts, and support preparatory payroll tasks.

We are also actively involved in recruiting: reviewing application documents, conducting phone interviews, and coordinating further interview appointments.

Through this, we gain a comprehensive insight into internal processes. Some of us have even already had the opportunity to visit clients on site – which was particularly exciting.

What makes this internship so special for us is the variety of tasks and the openness within the team. We learn something new every day and always have colleagues we can turn to with questions or challenges. Communication is open, honest, and respectful.

We don’t feel like “the interns” here, but like a genuine part of the team. That is exactly what makes the internship at allaboutHRLaw so valuable for us: it is educational, practice-oriented, and gives us the opportunity to get to know many different areas in a short period of time.

We are grateful for the experiences we can gain here and look forward to everything that is still to come!
